Job Description
We are looking for a Network Engineer to join a team responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and maintaining network infrastructure in a dynamic banking environment. The candidate will be responsible for documenting current solutions, reviewing network architecture, and providing support for Disaster Recovery (DR) setups. A key focus of the role will also be analyzing and optimizing DMZ connections, ensuring network security, and collaborating with IT teams to design and implement best practices.
Responsibilities
- Documenting existing network solutions within the M&TP (Mapping & Tracking Platform).
- Reviewing and analyzing network architecture for optimization and compliance with best practices.
- Assessing and testing Disaster Recovery (DR) configurations, covering both infrastructure and applications.
- Optimizing and mapping DMZ connections, analyzing current configurations, and removing unnecessary components.
- Collaborating with IT teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists.
- Providing operational support for network infrastructure maintenance and development.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of network engineering and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with Multi Cast Networking and multicast transmission protocols.
- Ability to work end-to-end, from requirement analysis to implementation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of firewalls, including configuration and management (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Good English communication (min B2).
Nice to Have
- Experience in the banking or financial sector.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and traffic analysis tools.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent).
