The consultant will work as a Full Stack Java Developer within the Cards Service Domain, focusing on the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of internet-facing Commercial Cards applications. The role involves designing and implementing new functionalities, enhancing existing solutions, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security of business-critical applications.
Key responsibilities include:
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Develop and enhance microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices.
Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams to deliver business value.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues.
Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities detected through SAST, container scanning, dependency scanning, penetration testing, and other security assessments.
Drive secure coding practices and contribute to improving the security posture of internet-facing applications.
Support CI/CD processes using tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
Optimize application performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, operational documentation, and implementation guidelines.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to development practices, automation, quality assurance, and security.
The consultant is expected to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional Agile team and contribute to both feature delivery and ongoing application lifecycle management activities.
Leverage AI-powered tools and solutions, such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot, to improve development efficiency, code quality, documentation, testing, and vulnerability remediation activities.
