Detailed description of work task to be carried out
We are seeking an experienced PMI-certified Project Manager capable of delivering projects end-to-end as the sole PM. You will operate across both Waterfall and Agile delivery models, ensuring strong governance, stakeholder management, and execution discipline. Knowledge of Azure cloud platforms and cybersecurity is a significant advantage. The role is part of a broader transformation programme focused on aligning an isolated Azure data center with Nordea Group standards, policies and security requirements.
This request is a replacement to an existing Project Manager who runs DLP and Proxy configuration projects.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, plan and deliver transformation and integration projects in Azure cloud and cybersecurity domains;
- Own full project lifecycle (scope, plan, budget, risks, stakeholders)
- Deliver projects using both Waterfall and Agile approaches, depending on the project
- Apply structured Waterfall practices (clear phases, documentation, change control, governance)
- Run Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery where appropriate
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, cloud, business and security
- Ensure alignment with cybersecurity and compliance requirements
- Provide clear reporting, risk management, and decision support to stakeholders
Must-have knowledge and experience
- Preferred PMI certification (CAMP or preferred PMP)
- Strong experience in both Waterfall and Agile delivery
- Proven experience as a sole Project Manager on IT projects
- Experience in IT transformation / integration projects
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- An understanding of Cloud and Cybersecurity domains, like:
- Firewalls (FW), Proxy solutions
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Database Activity Monitoring
- Endpoint Protection
- Security Monitoring
- Vulnerability management, Security baselines
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Network Security
- Azure Cloud Architecture
Nice-to-have knowledge and experience
- Experience in the financial sector is a plus
